#54 Come Inside
Good news for a change!
As it turns out, working on a project entirely on your own is an extremely tiresome process. I've learned from working with Dave Reddick over at Legend of Bill, that collaborating is far more enjoyable. Then my good friend Michael Regina and I started talking and decided to swap talents on each others projects. So I am currently working on some colors for one of his projects and he is now bringing his beautiful inks to Newman.
I sent him the pencils last night, and I can't even begin to explain how excited I was to see these finished inks he sent back. He totally blew my expectations away. Every little thing that I hinted at in the pencils, he totally nailed and brought in some amazing line quality. Mike is helping to take Newman to a whole new level and I'm excited about it.
This is going to take a huge burden off of my back and increase not only the quality of the work, but quite possibly the production rate. I'm not making any guarantees on the update schedule yet, but there is a good chance it will be improving.
